Meet the Author

David Williams

David Williams grew up in Port Talbot, South Wales, spending much of his childhood on the beach. At school he became a founder member of the Glamorgan Youth Theatre, sparking a lifelong passion for the arts, especially contemporary dance. Alongside this, he developed interests in a range of sports and remains an enthusiastic rugby fan.
A keen reader and music lover, David also enjoys storytelling—a skill he has refined with his own children and the many pupils he has worked with in schools.
David trained as a teacher and has worked mainly across London and the South East. He has also contributed to teacher training programmes at Middlesex University and Gloucester University.
He now lives with his family in Waltham Abbey, Essex.
